Kerr-Parzygnot Funeral Home opened in 1982 after merging with W.E. Kerr. Kerr had been a family owned funeral home since 1891. Kerr-Parzygnot continues that tradition of being family owned and operated. Our original location is at 540 Dixie Highway (Corner of Dixie Highway and Joe Orr Road) in Chicago Heights, Illinois.

The owners and staff pride themselves in serving families with professionalism and compassion at each of their locations. They stand ready to assist families through the difficulty of losing a loved one and accommodate families in all the arrangements.

This location provides all facilities on one level with convenient handicap access. It includes 2 visitation chapels and a third chapel dedicated to small church services complete with items from the historic former St. Joseph Catholic Church of Chicago Heights. The visitation chapels include a 42” monitor to display your complimentary DVD.
